About Banbury U3A
Learning for Pleasure
Banbury U3A is part of the national University of the Third Age movement — a vibrant community for retired and semi-retired people who want to keep learning, socialising and exploring new interests. With over 30 interest groups covering everything from arts and languages to walking, history, card games and more, there's something for everyone.
Open meetings are held at LPCA twice a month (except August and December), usually featuring a guest speaker or member presentation, followed by refreshments and socialising. Interest groups meet at various times throughout the month.

Got Questions?
How much does it cost?
Annual membership is just £14 (or £24 for two people at the same address). There's a £1.50 attendance fee at general meetings which covers the speaker, venue and refreshments.
When are the meetings?
Open meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday afternoons of each month at LPCA (except August and December). Interest groups meet at their own times — check the website for details.
Who can join?
Anyone who is retired or semi-retired. It's all about learning for pleasure in a friendly, informal environment.
Can I try before I join?
